Tribal's gourmet lamb sausages contain 73.5% muscle meat and 6.5% lambs liver using lambs from responsibly raised farms in the UK. The muscle meat, which consists of 53.5% deboned lamb meat and 20% lambs heart, provides protein and essential amino acids.
Organ meats are highly palatable and contain natural sources of essential fat-soluble and water soluble vitamins. We use 6.5% lambs liver which is rich in vitamin A and provides a natural well rounded source of nutrition.
With 6.5% chickpeas and 4% carrots these two ingredients provide a great source of low fat fibre and slow release energy.
Store these sausages in a cool dark place. Once opened the sausages must be kept in the fridge and used within 48 hours. Alternatively, they can be chopped or sliced and stored in the freezer which will easily defrost in a few hours depending on how thickly they are sliced.
